Observed: 53 LWFG (Fennoscandian) - 3 juv.
Details: A flock of 53 Lessers were partly separated as 45 resting individuals and 8 (among them a brood of 3 goslings and 5 adults) which were feeding on berries. It was unsure whether birds of Swedish origin were present, as some geese were lying on the shore and legs were not visible. At 5.01, one hour after the sunrise, Lessers lift up and flew over the Porsangerfjord and landed somewhere to Oldereidnes. Risto Karvonen, WWF Finland field team

Observed: 50 LWFG (Fennoscandian) - 46 Ad 1 2cy 3 juv.
Details: The three goslings were distributed in a single brood. In the flock were also mr. Blue and Nyfrøkna (blue/black left leg). In addition to the 50 birds, two adult birds of Swedish reintroduced origin followed the flock. On 19th August, 43 LWfG were seen, including the same brood and Mr. Blue and Nyfrøkna. "Formerly GPS-neckbanded male Evros" without female at the Valdak Marshes in the evening. The transmitter was lost during the evening hours today 14.05.2026. We did not observe how it happened. Ingar Jostein Øien
