03 February 2018, Limnochori, Lake Kerkini, Central Macedonia, Greece 95 LWfG observed (Fennoscandian). Observation was made from the lakeside track just north of Limnochori. The total of LWFG was counted from photographs taken of all the individuals. It appeared that all but one of the birds were adults, although this could not be certainly ascertained because of the observation distance. Altogether 95 LWFG were counted, which comprised of a flock of 83 feeding just beyond the disused film set building, then joined by a single bird and later by a flock of 10 adults with one juvenile which flew in (see photo). Also present was the Red-breasted Goose that has been associating with the LWFG flock. Later a noisy vehicle frightened the flock and they flew a further distance away and continued feeding.
